He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Holden; his parents, Hiram Holden and Eva Holden; and his siblings, E. J. Holden, Wilbur Holden, Douglas Holden, Shirley Chamberlain and Hattie Jean Yoder.
He is survived by: his sons, James Gregory Holden (Tammy) of Glenmora, Rick Holden (Karen) of Purvis and Brian Holden (Annette) of Lafayette; and his siblings, Arthur Holden (Doris) of Glenmora, Betty Hampton (Sam) of Pasadena and Rhonda Sartin (Ricky) of Breaux Bridge. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and eleven great-great grandchildren.
