He was predeceased by: his wife Leda Johnson O'Banion; his son Randall Clark O'Banion; his parents, Grover O'Banion and Blanche O'Banion; and his siblings, William O'Banion, Kirby O'Banion, Robert "Beebe" O'Banion, Joe O'Banion, Ruby Fontenot, Lillian Hutchinson, Elaine Creel, Lola Melder, Verda Hughes and Shirley Diefenbach.
He is survived by: his children, Bill O'Banion (Rhonda) and Angie Kingrey (Kirby); and his grandchildren, Brandon O'Banion (Jessica), Heather Wainwright (Dean), Sydni Landreneau, Traci O'Banion, Gabrielle Richard (Drew), Klaire LeBlanc (Christian) and Kirby Kingrey, Jr.. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Oakdale Church of Christ. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
