Moses Stanley Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Moses Stanley of Glenmora, Louisiana. Moses, born on October 27, 1940, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Stanley and Gladys Stanley; and his siblings, Bolton Stanley, Cleo Stanley, Madeline Turner, Frankie Doyle and Gloria Marcantel.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stanley of Glenmora; and his children, Kay Stanley-Johns (Mike) of Sulphur, Karen Hancock (Allen) of Sahuarita, Arizona, Sherri Stanley of Opelousas and Dr. Shannon Stanley (Jamie) of Moyock. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Glenmora United Pentecostal Church (1010 6th Ave, Glenmora, LA 71433). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
