She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Smiley and Oria Smiley; and her siblings, Edmond Dale Thomas Smiley, Sr., Arthur Thomas Smiley and Karen Clark.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Glenn King of Glenmora; her daughters, Kayla King (John) of Glenmora, Lisa King (Josh) of LeCompte, Sara King of Glenmora and Ashley King (Joe) of Glenmora; and her sister Arlene Hatfield (Elton) of West Monroe. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
