He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Perkins and Bertha Gonzales; his siblings, Willie Ray Perkins, Genlee West and Linda Doyle; and his granddaughter Sarah Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda McDaniel Perkins of Plainview; his children, Donald Lynn Perkins (Lauren) of Plainview, Tiffany Perkins (Trent) of Elizabeth and Latoya Willis (Trey) of Plainview; his siblings, Jesse Gonzales (Jeroma) of Mittie, John Wayne Perkins (Tina) of Oakdale, Loretta Guimbellot of Kinder and Katrina Taylor of Oakdale; and his grandchildren, Kragen Perkins, Harlie Perkins, Sadie Perkins, Riker Perkins, River Willis, Cadyn Perkins and Kiptyn Willis.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (1769 LA-462, Glenmora, LA 71433). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
