The memory of Tonya McDonald of Glenmora, Louisiana, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 66, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband James McDonald, Jr.; her son Jonathan McDonald; her parents, Ronald Johnson and Genevieve Worsham; and her brother Rony Johnson.
She is survived by: her son James W. McDonald, III (Tiuana); her grandchildren, Bailey and James of Alexandria; her brothers, Damon Johnson (Sandra) and Marcus Johnson (Felicia) of Kokomo, IN; and her siblings-in-law, Diedre McDonald Guy and Grice McDonald of Glenmora. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the McDonald's Funeral Service (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Alexandria Memorial Gardens - Woodworth (8855 US-165, Woodworth, LA 71485).
