He was predeceased by: his father Clifton Francis Esponge; his brothers, Clifton Esponge Jr. and Lionel "Train" Esponge; and his grandparents, Gustave, Selima Esponge, John and Nora Anselmi.
He is survived by: his mother Doris Eschete; his children, Robert Hable, Tyler Esponge and Jennifer Esponge; his great grandchildren, Zack, Landon, Lexie and Angelina; and his siblings, Chris Esponge, Michelle Cook, Cheryl Goin, Ella Bellanger, Gwen Eschete and Julie Eschete. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
