With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Serigny of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Serigny and Lucia Mobley Serigny; his daughter Juanita Serigny; his brother Chansey Serigny; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Kramer and Erica Hosey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anita Serigny (Will) and Bonita Serigny; his grandchildren, Eric Coller, Erin Serigny, Terric Kramer, Terrica Kramer, Michael Serigny and Lánee Joseph; his siblings, Francis Serigny, Alida Serigny, Louella Serigny and Louverda Hayes; and his godchild Stacy Hayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery (723 N Bayou Dr, Golden Meadow, LA 70357). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
