He is survived by: his sons, Neal Bernard (Angelle Pierce) and Kevin Bernard (Mitzi); his grandchildren, Madison Bernard, Jacob Bernard and Kimberly Gore (Vince); his great grandchild Charlotte Pierce Gore; his sisters, Thelma B. Leonard and Mary Ann B. Pierce; his godchildren, Stacey Bernard Gonzales and Theresa Terrebonne; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Bernard, Nina Bernard, Sandra Griffin Pitre (David), Evelyn Gautreaux Griffin, Adam Leonard, Kernest "Coon" Pierce, Donald Griffin and Rodney Griffin.
