We bid farewell to Peggy Doucet Duet (Golden Meadow, Louisiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 30, 2025 at the age of 81. Peggy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Etienne Doucet and Pomella Doucet; her siblings, Herman, Leroy, Linton Doucet, Mary Lou Jambon and Lois Cheramie; her godson Jason Paul Cheramie; Evelyn Anselmi.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Kent (Melanie), Angela Long (Darryl) and Jill Arabie (Garrett); her grandchildren, Ryan Long, Michael Long, Madelin Arabie and Claire Arabie; her goddaughter Becky Cheramie (Jason); her grandchildren, Patrick (Alexandra) and Mary Cheramie; her sister Audrey Plaisance (Calvin); Disease, Calvin, Norma Duet, Barbara Plaisance, Ginny Miller, Josie Robichaux, Harold, Louise Adams, Odile Williams, Sue Bruce and Tracy Doucet.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church (723 N Bayou Dr, Golden Meadow, LA 70357). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery (723 N Bayou Dr, Golden Meadow, LA 70357).
