He was predeceased by : his parents, Tulio Prettelt and Marjorie "Minnie" Prettelt; and his father-in-law Nolan "Bobby" Jacob. He is survived by : his wife Debbie Jacob Prettelt; his children, Tessa Renaud (Mike), Wes Diez (Chelsea) and Erika Prettelt; and his grandchildren, Gabe Renaud, Grace Renaud, Faith Renaud, Jacee Diez, Mason Diez, Ava Renaud, Vander Renaud, Keaton Renaud, Aria Diez and Camden Aydell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude or Tunnel 2 towers.
