We announce the death of Hattie Bell Moran of Gonzales, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 95. Hattie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Paul Bourgeois and Luse Babin Bourgeois; her husband Dewey "By-June" Moran; her son Earl John Moran Sr.; her son-in-law Ronald Williams Sr.; and her granddaughter Abbi Moran.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Williams, Jimmie Moran (Carol) and Sheron Fontenot (Dawson); her daughter-in-law Pamela Jane Moran; her sons, Danny Moran (Pamela) and Glen Moran; and her grandsons, Ronald K. Williams Jr., Jamie Fontenot, Jason Moran, Earl Moran Jr. and Casey Moran. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (42021 LA-621, Gonzales, LA 70737). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Lake Cemetery.
