He is survived by: his children, Hallie Carter, Jaycee Carter, Jonathan M. Carter, Jr. and Jaxon Carter; his parents, Deidre R. Carter and Samuel Carter; his brother Jarvis Carter (Latoya); and his grandmother Eartha L. Rayborn. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lawson & Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Iwbfm Cemetery.
