We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, at the age of 71, Sandra Coleman of Gonzales, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanders Coleman and Mary Jefferson Coleman; her siblings, Jacqueline Coleman Davis, Francis Coleman Rhone, Leslie, Frank, Sanders Coleman Jr. and Terry Franklin; and her nephews, Raymond Bates, Ronell Burbank, Sr. and Bruce Burbank.
She is survived by: her sons, Harry Coleman (Velvet) and Henry Coleman; her siblings, Deloris Smith (Gus), Mary Coleman Bates, Barbara C. Ponder-Stokes, Dora, Shirley, Ronald and Philip Coleman; her grandchildren, Jamie, Elrielle, Deja, Kelley, Harry, Jr., Raven, Akien, Skyler and Kingston; her great grandchild Ezra; and her goddaughters, Felicia Ponder and Danielle Cruse. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Gillion Baptist Church (38280 Henry Rd, Prairieville, LA 70769). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
