He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Garner Yates and Julius DuBois, Jr.; and his sister Deborah DuBois Seal. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Schexnaydre DuBois; his children, Trenton DuBois (Sarah), Toby DuBois (Fran), Todd DuBois (Kristen) and Meche DuBois (Adam); his grandchildren, Taylor DuBois, Bailey Ducote, Cami Ducote, Preston Charles, Amelia DuBois, Josie DuBois, Demi DuBois, Samuel "Sam" DuBois, Lily DuBois, Trace DuBois, Zoe Rickels, Lawson Mansur and Cade Mansur; and his siblings, Gwen Hinds (Pat), Tandy DuBois and Tyler DuBois (Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
