She was predeceased by: her parents, Murphy Isom, Sr. and Ethel C. Isom; her husband Bill Champagne; her siblings, Vernita, Eva, Mary, Edison, Willie, Harold and Alet; her niece Ethel Mae McKinney; her nephew Kentrell Jones; and her goddaughter Ethel Mae McKinney.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Wilbert), Wanda (Michael) and Elroy (Angelic); her siblings, Lillie Hollins, Theresa Devare, Juanita Lee (Gaston), Irma Melancon, Elaine Sterling (Nolis), Murphy Isom, Jr. (Sheral), Herman Isom and Wallace Isom (Catheline); and her goddaughter Monica Johnson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
