It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Elaine Hooker (Gramercy, Louisiana), who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her children, Veda G. Hooker and Oliver Hooker, Jr. (Joy); her grandchildren, Jarrius, Jarriah, Jarriel, Kennedy and Jamaul; her siblings, Mary Stewart (Pleasant), Rita Johnson, Linda Rixner, Mildred M. Etienne and Vondra Steib (Richard); her siblings-in-law, Darlene Hooker (Harry), Gertrude Hooker (William) and Thomas Joseph, Jr.; and her caregivers, Nina Joseph, Leona Gibson and Elizabeth Gant. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and co-workers.
