He is survived by: his wife Nicole Gant-Stafford; his children, Shermaine Stafford-Johnson (Samuel) and Eden Stafford; his stepchildren, Gabrielle Gant, Gachielle Otkin (Anthony), Eldrine Albert (Whitney), Ephraim Gant (Terrev), Elton Gant, Gaynell Washington (late Damon), Elonti Gant, Daris Scott (Angele) and Tyrus Kelson; his siblings, Elmira Shaw, Kathy Inuwa, Marcella Linton (Paul), Hattie Laday, Ronald (Carol Johnson), Faye (Jerry Webster) and Donald Johnson; and his godchildren, Micheal Bourgeois and Trenada Young Ago. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Zion Christian Center (216 W Main St, Gramercy, LA 70052). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
