With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vanessa Davis Sanders (Gramercy, Louisiana), who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Vanessa Davis may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vanessa Davis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Davis and Angelene Davis; and her brother James Davis. She is survived by: her sisters, Joyce Shorts and Barbara Bright.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Restlawn Park Cemetery (3540 US-90, Avondale, LA 70094).
