He was predeceased by: his daughter Desiree Potier Noel; his father Joseph Potier David, Sr.; his parents-in-law, Telemarque Dodge and Margaret Sibille Dodge; his stepfather-in-law A. C. Barry; his brother Gary Potier; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Dodge.
He is survived by: his wife Tammie Dodge Potier of Sunset; his daughter Summer Potier Landry (Jeremie) of Carencro; his son-in-law Poose Noel; his grandchildren, Kynli Noel Kraft (Zakarey) of Sunset, Tadym Broussard Sweeney (Hunter) of Jacksonville, NC, Jordyn Landry of Carencro and Parker Landry of Carencro; his mother Mary Jane Alleman Potier; his sisters, Pauline Stoute (Lawrence), Janet Duos (Robert) of Shreveport and Missy Vincent (T. Joe) of Scott; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Dodge of Baton Rouge and Melinda Potier of Lafayette. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 3:15 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church (174 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541). A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery (174 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541).
