He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Leon and Mary Pecora Leon; his siblings, Estelle Miletello (Sam), Lawrence Leon (Joyce), Phillip Leon (Irene), Guy Leon and Anthony Leon (Lynn); and his brother-in-law Leo D. Legier.

He is survived by: his children, Christelle Taylor (Leroy Taylor), Mary Ellen Leon and Kenny Leon; his former wife Joyce Leon; and his siblings, Charles Leon (Emily) of Melville and Josephine Legier of Mandeville. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
