She is survived by: her children, Joelle Smith (Miyah), Johnelle Smith (Bhekani) and Joseph Smith (Krystle); her close friend Tina Theode; her siblings, Ricky Lewis, Sr., Sherelle Smith and Kimberly Smith-Forestier; her grandchildren, Kamryn Smith, Kymani Smith and Adan Hyde; and her aunt Catherine Polidore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
