She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Carey Franklin and Freddie Florence Clark Franklin; her husband Gary Tolbert; and her granddaughter Tori Thames. She is survived by: her children, Hoopie Thames (Kim) and Rhonda Blanks; her stepdaughter Misty Tolbert Castro Vilares (Marcelo); her grandchildren, Chad Page (Kelly), Henry Volentine (Gwen), Jessica Blanks (Pierre) and Taylor Thames (Daniel Lawrence); and her great grandchildren, Joshua Volentine, Caitlynn Page, River Plott-Delia, Koralee Delia, Iris Lawrence and Lawrence.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Welcome Home Cemetery (4805 LA-126, Grayson, LA 71435). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
