“Even though I really didn't know my Uncle Laray I do remember him on a visit to Grandma's. He helped me ride my first horse, a monumental memory for a boy. My only regret, being a military brat, was the loss of family ties. Never the less my Dad, (Pop), kept us aware of the happenings in La. I know Uncle Laray is now being welcomed by the whole Nugent Clan. They all would not want us to be sad for too long. All our love, Olan and Nancy”
