It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Ann Tarver of Grayson, Louisiana, born in Ferriday, Louisiana, who passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her children, Jacquelyn Nicole Ham and Angelo James "Jimmy" Tarver; and her siblings, William Nathan Powell, Ava Ruth Berryman, Rita Griffin, Robert Wayne Powell and Letha Mae Powell.

She is survived by : her children, Sonja R. Tarver, Cecilia M. "CeCe" Tarver, Nathan R. Tarver and Jeffery; her siblings, Charles "Bo" Powell, Larry Powell, Wanda Sumerall, Bettie Williams, Carolyn Mills, Connie Berryman and Debbie Powell; and her grandchildren, Angelo James Tarver, Jr., Shane Joseph Tarver, Tanner J. Ham, Zachary T. Woolam, Josephine L. Woolam, Seth Johnston and James Ham. She is also survived by her family and friends.
