She was predeceased by: her parents, Osborne Villard Young and Electa Powell Young. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Wayne Shaffer of Central, LA; her children, Jason Wayne Shaffer (Amanda) of Walker, LA and Elizabeth "Beth" Irene (Joe Bordelon) of Denham Springs, LA; her grandchildren, Dayne Michael Bordelon, Gage Austin Bordelon, Meghan Elizabeth Shaffer, Aiden Cole Bordelon and Samantha Allyn Shaffer; and her great grandchild Berkley Grace Bordelon.
