She is survived by: her children, Kim Meaux (Jason), Tyrone Abshire (Elaine) and Dougie Abshire; her grandchildren, Seth Bay (Kendall), Larissa Abshire, Chelsea Means, Allyson Rodriguez (Sergio), Shea Sikes (Kallie Jean), Stormi Abshire and JT Abshire (Indigo); and her sister Hope Richard (Ivy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (311 4th St, Gueydan, LA 70542). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1355 Evangeline Hwy, Jennings, LA 70546).
