She was predeceased by: her husband Malcolm Garcia Jr.; her parents, Rosia B Washington and Lester Washington; and her siblings, Lester Washington Jr., Richard Washington, Joseph Washington, Eldon Washington, Sheila Achelles and Yolanda Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Rosia G. Cahn, Valerie Garcia, Malcolm Garcia III, Parnell Garcia and Jonathan Garcia; and her sisters, Diane Anderson and Jennifer Howard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rhodes Funeral Home - Gretna (1020 Virgil St, Gretna, LA 70053). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rhodes Funeral Home (1020 Virgil St, Gretna, LA 70053).
