She is survived by: her husband Charles Mills Sr.; her children, Leslie Mills Wagstaffe (Darnell) and Charles Mills Jr.; her grandchildren, Lyndon, Charlotte, Charles III (Chaz), Donovan and Madeleine; and her sister Julie Jacobs (Wayne). She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
