He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hightower and Polly Hightower; and his siblings, Charles Hightower, Alton Hightower and Sybil Roberts.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Hightower and Stephen Hightower; his brother Frank Hightower; his grandchildren, Sean, Claire, Emma and Aaron; and his former wife Laurie Hightower Baker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital in his name.
