With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Joseph Benoit Jr. of Gretna, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on June 9, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David J. Benoit, Sr. and Josephine Bouton Pitre Benoit; his sister Ramona B. Clesi; his brother-in-law John C. Clesi; and his brother Warren Benoit.

He is survived by: his wife Billie Houston Benoit; his daughters, Ann Benoit and Monique Benoit Lehnhardt; his grandson Thomas Fortier Dalferes; and his niece Carol Clesi Wedig.

Out of respect for Mrs. Benoit, please wear a mask.
