She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Birdlow, Sr. and Josephine Roche Birdlow; and her grandparents, Joseph A. Roche, Sr., Ivory M. Roche, Pearl Crosby and Daniel Birdlow.
She is survived by: her children, Dione M. Phoenix and Howard Smothers, Jr.; and her siblings, Alvin Birdlow, Jr., Ellex Birdlow, Wayne G. Birdlow, Louis Birdlow and Elizabeth Noel- of Washington. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
