She is survived by: her husband Larry Turks; her daughter Tyra Washington; her stepchildren, Tameka Brown (David), Hyacinth Watkins (Jason) and Yenda Turks; her grandchildren, Gerald Wayne Bailey, III and Faith Ayana Washington; her siblings, Alcenia Robinson, Herbert Washington (Yvonne), Idella Washington (late Lawrence Washington, Sr.) and Marguerite Washington Avery (late Earl Avery, Jr.); her siblings-in-law, Joseph Davis, Burnie Moss, Jr., Daniel Lee Simmons, Sr., Beverly Allen, Mary Beauvia (Lester, Sr.), Dysine Bowman, Jean Casmere (James) and Linda Tate (James); her godson James Chapman, Jr.; her siblings, Alvin Washington, Arthur Washington, Sr., Ethel Mae Washington Simmons, Leonard Washington and Marcell Washington Moss; and her siblings-in-law, Clarence Allen, Ethlia Davis and Aletha Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and dear friends.
