She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Lewis; her parents, Inez Davis and Thomas Singleton; her sisters, Shirley Cox and Helen Smith; and her daughter Sharon Moore.

She is survived by: her children, Ramona Lewis, Doris Mackey (Kenneth), Cathy Douglas (Edgar), Edwina Selico, Edward Collins, III and Madonna Lombard; and her son-in-law Cornsee Moore. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, forty- one great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
