He was predeceased by: his wife Annie M. Butler; his son Karl Butler, Sr.; and his parents, Isaac Butler and Emily Butler. He is survived by: his children, Harold Butler, Jr., Sharolyn Turner, Pamela Butler, Isaac Butler, Mona Lisa Butler and Portray Black; and his siblings, Annie Mae Lewis, Joseph Butler, Herbert Butler, Norman Butler, Herman Butler, Adeline Hart, Audrey Mae Rogers and Matilda Cook. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
