It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriett Perique Singleton of Gretna, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Nelson Perique and Albertine Perique; and her sister Jannie Mae Robertson. She is survived by: her son John L. Walker (Monika); her grandchildren, Jalen and Jayce Walker; her son Sean Davis (Pamila); and her siblings, Walter Umrani (Phyliss), Steve Perique (Linda), Alma Harris (late Willie), George Perique, Kay Lloyd (Ralph), Vincent Perique, Albertine Perique, Kent Shelby (Leslie), Zina Shelby, Jerry, Sr., Joseph and Raymond Perique. She is also survived by adopted sons and daughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
