She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Speed; her child Norris Prevost; her parents, Moses Cyprian and Della Cyprian; and her siblings, Moses Cyprian, Joseph Cyprian, David Cyprian, Irene Rogers, Thelma Wells and Mable Cyprian.
She is survived by: her children, Tyrone Prevost, Stanley Speed, Vincenne Speed, Emanuel Speed, Tegre Lemon, Michael Speed, Barbara Prevost Taylor, Graylon Speed and David Speed. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Second St. John Baptist Church (242 Avondale Garden Rd, Avondale, LA 70094). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Second St. John Baptist Church (243 Avondale Garden Rd, Avondale, LA 70094). FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
