He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph, Sr. Pete and Leona Bibbins Pete; and his grandparents, Jessie D. Bibbins, Sr., Julia Bibbins-Milton, Samuel, Sr. and Josephine Moliere Pete.
He is survived by: his spouse Terry Pete; his children, Jasmine Latrelle Lawrence, Joseph Earl Pete, III, Ashley Coleman and Willie Coleman; and his siblings, Kevin Wayne Pete (Lona) and Lisa Pete Joseph (Kermit). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
