Joseph Maquar III Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Maquar III of Gretna, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Raymond Maquar, Jr. and Rita Collins Maquar; his father-in-law Eugene A. Harris, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Gerard Harris. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Harris Maquar; his children, Joseph R. Maquar, IV (Marie), Steven J. Maquar (Michelle), Katherine M. Daugherty (Michael), Rebecca M. Evans (Scott) and Jonathan R. E. Maquar (Monique); his grandchildren, Ashley Sims (Mike), Colby Maquar (Olivia), Caitlyn Corass (Jonathan), Alexis Daugherty, Evan Daugherty, Hailey Daugherty, Connor Evans, Liam Evans and Hendrix Maquar; his great grandchild Archer Corass; his mother-in-law Joyce H. Harris; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene Harris, Jr. (Myleen), Stephen Harris (Lucienne), Rodney Harris (Jolie) and Diane Palmer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
