He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Solano and Mercedes Mendez Solano; and his brother Luis "Louie" Solano. He is survived by: his wife Ana Myriam Solano; his children, Jennifer Roth (Jason), Joseph Solano (Nicolette), Janell Stout (Jeremy), Candice Brawn (James), Israa Odeh, Stephanie Batres, Gabriela Batres and Karen Batres; his grandchildren, Joseph, Gabriella, Nicholas, Jonathan, Sophia, Olivia, Joselyn, Jianna, Lucas, Bianca, Charlie and Luke; his sisters, Norma Jaeggers and Mercedes "Mercy" Potter; and also Patricia Lozano. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
