He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaiah Armant and Josie Ree Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph "Joe" Whitten, Martha Ann Lee and Ivory Luckett.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Johnson, Donald Sam, Jr. and Janice Lewis Whitten. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
