He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Dempsey and Joyce Green. He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. Dempsey; his son Robert Patrick Dempsey; his sister Margaret D. Cornell (Bruce); and his nephews, Doug Cornell and James Cornell.
