We bid farewell to Robert Wilson Jr. (Gretna, Louisiana), born in Lettsworth, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2025 at the age of 81. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his son Rickey Wilson; and his parents, Rober Wilson, Sr. and Rosie Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wilson; and his daughters, Catherine Wilson, Patricia Wilson, Lori Williams (Ernest), Marilyn Harris (Booker) and Barbara Wilson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Service (230 Monroe St, Gretna, LA 70053). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
