It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Smokey Robinson Sr. of Gretna, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Fernandez and Rayfield Robinson, Sr.; and his uncles, Sterling Ventris and Walter Smith. He is survived by: his children, Terrione, Serenity Johnson, Se'Myra, Smokey, Jr., Jayden and Kayden Robinson; his parents, Rayfield Robinson, Jr. and Renice Robinson; his grandparents, Jimmetta Fernandez, Rena Ventris and Theresa Jones; and his siblings, Jackie, Sunny, Magic, Shemeka, Holly Robinson and Raymond Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
