Beverly Gaspard Lougon Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Beverly Gaspard Lougon (Gueydan, Louisiana). Beverly, born on December 28, 1950, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Gaspard and Mary Grace Dugas Gaspard; her adoptive father Carl (Allie Gaspard Hoffpauir); her family, Carl Hoffpauir and Allie Gaspard Hoffpauir; her husband Ronald "Ronnie" Wayne Lougon; her brother Harry Gaspard; and her nephew Zachary Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya Lougon Scott (Angela Solomon) and Troy Lougon (Tyler May); her grandsons, Bolden Scott and Brayden Scott; and her siblings, Mary Ann "Blondie" Simon (Jody), Cindy Monceaux, Jo Ann Gaspard, Karen Hay, Terry Gaspard (Wanda) and Darrell Hoffpauir (Sonya). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home - Gueydan (514 2nd St, Gueydan, LA 70542). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (603 Main St, Gueydan, LA 70542). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at the Gueydan Cemetery.
