With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobbie Trahan Smith of Gueydan, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Trahan and Pearl Trahan; her husband Stanford Joseph Smith, Sr.; her sons, Lester James Smith and Anderson Paul, Sr.; and her siblings, Barbara Dopson, Sandra Trahan, Alice Trahan, Curtis "CJ" Trahan, Douglas Trahan and Leroy Trahan.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Heath (Marvin) and Stanford Smith, Jr. (Kelly); and her siblings, Berta Thibodeaux (Marshall) and Terry Thibodeaux (Margaret). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
