He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Mouton and Eula Mae Monceaux Mouton; his wife Theresa Borel Mouton; his son Burney Mouton; his grandchildren, Linzi Romero and Shannon Mouton; and his siblings, Warren Mouton, Marion Conner, Melvin Mouton and Buddy Mouton.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Mouton (Mary) of Gueydan, Debra Monte (Keith) of New Iberia, Tina Mouton (Verna) of Breaux Bridge and Chip Mouton (Kelly) of Breaux Bridge; his sister Gardline Vallo of Gueydan; and his daughter-in-law Crystal Mouton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
