She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Smith; her son Neal Guidry; her parents, Leo Harry Abshire and Yola Mae Abshire; and her sisters, Mary Lou Abshire, Peggy Boudreaux and Vickie Esquivel.
She is survived by: her children, Chad Guidry (Carolyn) of Rayne and Chrystal Cormier (Buddy) of Gueydan; and her siblings, Lisa Hargrave (Kerry) of Abbeville and Roddy Abshire (Susan) of Abbeville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
