He is survived by: his wife Pam Hartwell of Gueydan; his daughters, Kandace Hartwell Hargrave (Bryant) of Spurger, TX and Kelsey Hartwell Rogers (Joel) of Gueydan; his grandchildren, Brylee Hargrave, Porter Rogers, Dallas Rogers, Gunnar Hargrave and Knox Rogers; and his nephew Colton Hartwell.
