He was predeceased by: his wife Honora "Ducy" Meaux; his parents, Odelas "Blanc" Meaux and Olivia "Une" LeMaire; his children, Steven J. Meaux, Arnold Walter Meaux, Theresa Ann Meaux and Stephanie Meaux; and his brothers, Walter Meaux and J. E. Meaux.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Meaux of Lake Charles, Paul Meaux (Kim), Jon Meaux (Jieance), Matt Meaux and Lilly Meaux of Gueydan; his sister Melva Phillips of Winnie, TX; his grandchildren, Stephanie Meaux, Haleigh Meaux, Steven Paul Meaux, Bryce Meaux and Kayli Trujillo; and his great grandchildren, Shaun Marie Meaux, Tate Comeaux, Blake Meaux, Mazie Rae Trujillo, Hayden Meaux, Marley Meaux, Elijah Meaux, Dha'lia Meaux and Aurora Thibodeaux.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (311 4th St, Gueydan, LA 70542). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Peter Catholic Church (707 Main St, Gueydan, LA 70542). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gueydan Cemetery.
